If you're someone who appreciates clear and consistent communication, as well as an agent who is on top of paperwork and can make accommodations for your schedule. Darlene's the one to work with. I'm new to the real estate world and had to dive into selling a family member's house that was in very, very poor condition. I sent emails out to four agents, two of which were recommendations. Darlene was one of the recommendations. After interviewing, it was clear that Darlene was very motivated and would work hard and she lived up to that impression. With parties involved in the house selling on two different ends of the country, Darlene worked out ways to get signatures, to provide information, to the conference calls, anything and everything without batting an eye. She also answered email questions in the wee hours of the day and night. She answered all questions without being condescending in any way, and she was always looking for solutions. She also had to deal with a variety of personalities, and she did that with polish. I was lucky enough to be selling in a really good market. But with the condition of the house, I had my doubts. Darlene worked hard to market the property but also listened to my needs as far as selling timeline, budget for repairs, etc, and she made it work. She also provided all the information about the offers that came in in a concise but complete way. She also gave good advice for figuring out whether or not to counteroffer. I had read so many scary reviews of real estate agents and had great concerns about choosing an agent. Darlene was above and beyond any expectations. If you read my other reviews of things, you'll find that I generally can find some constructive criticism even if I like a place/business. But in this case, Darlene is as good as it gets. I did not deal with any other aspects of Intero Lincoln Glen, so I can't vouch for the office overall.

Darlene agreed to meet me, found out who I was, and what I wanted, and took me on. Darlene was very low-pressure, not forcing me to look at properties I didn't like. I was under contract on the right house for me in under a month. Darlene worked alongside my lender and I had a 30-day close with a VA loan. Cut to a few years later, when I was relocating out of state, I called Darlene first. Darlene helped me identify relatively inexpensive changes to the property that would help raise the sale price. Darlene was able to provide access for contractors to my property while I was away traveling.
